5 times Vince McMahon was forced to suspend a WWE star

Since the mid-2000s, WWE has been particularly tough on welfare policy violations. Over the years, many WWE Superstars have been suspended for welfare policy violations, including celebrities, sometimes at the most inopportune times. # 5 Chris Jericho – 2012

The incident that led to the suspension of Chris Jericho is almost legendary at this point.

The year was 2012 and the WWE had a live event in Sao Paolo, Brazil. He faced CM Punk facing babyface at the event. While Punk waved a Brazilian flag in the ring, Jericho grabbed him and hit him after crumpling for the first time. If you did not know, defiling the Brazilian flag is a crime in the country and the police immediately stopped the live event.

The police reportedly wanted to arrest Jericho on the spot, but the WWE quickly removed him from the country and made a public apology to the Brazilian government. Jericho was suspended from the WWE for a month and returned to the game during the WWE RAW episode of June 25th.

At one of his one – man shows in 2014, Jericho said about the incident that he was about to be thrown in jail, adding that he "s been in jail. a Brazilian colonel in particular was gone for his blood. He added that Vince McMahon had made phone calls and made sure that he was immediately expelled from Brazil. Jericho returned to the United States via Guatemala.
