7 new Pokemon revealed for Sword and Shield

Among the many details regarding the Pokemon Sword and Shield that were shared during Nintendo's presentation on June 5th, there was the revelation of seven new Pokemon.

Newbie Pokémon

Until June 5, we know only three Pokemon that would appear in the game Pokemon 2019: Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble. These are of course the starting Pokémon of the sword and the shield.

Grookey is a chimpanzee-like Pokémon that uses a stick as a weapon, Scorbunny, a rabbit that leaves a burning trace wherever it moves and Sobble, a shy and unpretentious water lizard. These are known since the initial announcement of Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Wooloo

The fluffy fur of Pokemon sheep is cherished by the weavers of a town in the Galar region. They use fur to make popular specialty products.

Wooloo aspires to stability, suggesting that she is probably passive by nature. Pokemon society describes Wooloo as a conflict not to love and when they need to escape from enemies, they simply leave.

Sobble was previously the darling of Pokemon Sword and Shield, but fans quickly replaced this weak point with Wooloo.

Gossifleur

The Pokemon flower favors places where the air and the water are pure. It is said that its pollen has healing properties – which undoubtedly means that it has healing properties!

Gossifleur can travel long distances by being carried away by the wind. He does not seem very different from Bellothom from Jotho.

Eldegoss

The evolution of Gossifleur has also been revealed – Eldegoss. While evolving, his head turns into a huge cotton ball that is used to protect himself in combat. The seeds attached to it are nutritious for people and other Pokémon.

Eldegoss is currently the only evolved form to be revealed from the Pokémon Gen 8.

Drednaw

The Pokemon bite is a dual type of water and rock. His teeth are sharp enough to bite the iron and rock. Do not worry, Pokémon survive the fight!

Just like Charizard from season 1 of the anime, Drednaw must be tamed. It takes a highly trained Pokemon coach to get the respect – many coaches release him in the wild.

Corviknight

It is said that the raven like Corviknight forces Pokemon to simply undo because of its brilliance and crying.

Despite being a bit perverse, it actually helps the inhabitants of the Galar region by transporting them between cities. While traveling in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Corviknight can take you back to the cities you visited previously.

Zacian and Zamazenta

Wolves as legends are still unknown, even for those living in the Galar region. Zacian holds a sword in his mouth while the body of Zamazenta is made up of a shield.

It is said that their two movements are so elegant that they can captivate and overwhelm any opponent. It also seems that Zacian will be more based on the attacks and that Zamazenta's strength will be his defense.
