7 people were injured during a party at Snapchat in Texas

HOUSTON, Texas – Seven people were hit by bullets after a fight in a party held east of Houston early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred around 1:45 am at an "instant house party" that formed after its promotion on Snapchat.

The Houston Police Department said several people had quarreled and several people had started shooting at each other. Police said three people were shot dead at home where teenagers and adults attended the party.

According to the police, a car coming out of the house was followed by another group in a van. Police said that the group in the van fired at the car and that three other people were beaten.

Authorities say that the seventh victim was in the hospital. None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.
