Epic Games beat Fortnite's Baller Car: Battle Royale. In an article on Reddit, the developer said to have "rolled out a fix that reduced The Baller's health from 300 to 200", which means that no update of the title is needed for the change be taken into account.
"In 8.20 release notes, we added that we were going to add the ability to shoot through the Ballers glass in an upcoming update," continued Epic. "We played with shots through the glass and that did not seem to be the right solution."
The Baller was introduced for the first time last month and allows players to browse the map like a hamster in a wheel. Epic clearly felt that the vehicle was overpowered, hence the loss of health.
Fortnite has also introduced Reboot vans that act much like the Apex Legends Respawn Beacons tags. The new feature is part of the new Fortnite 8.30 fix, which brings a number of bugfixes and a new LTM named Fly Explosives.
