Even though SpaceIL's first attempt at landing on the moon has been a failure, the company announces that it will attempt again. Saturday, fThe founder Morris Khan spoke to Twitter to announce that the "dream continues" with the launch of Beresheet 2.0.

Khan also revealed that the team behind the new lander would begin work on April 14 to "complete the mission". However, no other details have been given.

The first Beresheet lander crashed to the surface of the moon after a main engine failure just two days ago. The accident occurred when descending over Mare Serenitatis, in the northern hemisphere of the moon.

"We had a failure in the spacecraft," said a representative of SpaceIL at the time. "We have unfortunately failed to land, we are the seventh country to orbit the moon and the fourth to reach its surface, and it is a tremendous achievement so far."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was also present for the event, seemed more positive by announcing, "If at first you do not succeed, you try again."

It seems that Khan took a page from Netanyahu's book.
