A 21-year-old construction worker miraculously survived a head injury after surgeons worked 90 minutes to safely remove an iron rod from his skull. Sanjay Bahe, of Balaghat, India, reportedly sank in a well while carrying out repairs, SWNS reported.
The stem pierced his skull from the right temporal region of his brain to the left frontal region, according to the report. He was taken to a nearby hospital where the stem was removed without causing major damage, according to the report.

Giri said that the rod lacked a major vein in Bahe's brain of a few millimeters. At one point, Bahe had low blood pressure. Giri said that he was "fine" and that he was being monitored for possible post-surgical complications, including meningitis.
