Astronaut Jessica Meir is now scheduled to fly to the International Space Station for the first time in September, and Christina Koch, currently in space, sees her stay on board extended until a record flight of 328 days. With Koch now scheduled to remain in orbit until February 2020, it will set a record for the longest space flight performed by a woman, eclipsing Peggy Whitson's previous 288-day mark in 2016-17.
