COUNTY OF MARTIN, Florida – Health officials now say that
Death of a Vermont man linked to two victims of hepatitis A
in Martin County "we do not think it is related to this public health concern at the moment".

Ned Kirsch is the brother of Jeff Kirsch, who died in Palm City with his wife Nancy earlier this month, following hepatitis A-related complications, health officials said.
Ned Kirsch, who
recently told WPTV about the death of his brother,
died suddenly after returning to Vermont, according to the Vermont Department of Health.
Spokesman Ben Truman said that although the forensic doctor's report on Kirsch's death is not yet finalized, his death "does not seem to be related to this public health problem at this time."
The Florida Department of Health is now working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
determine how the outbreak began in Martin County.
There have been 19 confirmed cases of hepatitis A in Martin County and three deaths this year.
