The next Frontier Developments mogul sim, Planet Zoo, will arrive this fall.

Fun Tracking tycoon sims Jurassic World: Evolution (2018) and Planet coaster (2016), Frontier Developments announced the finalization of Planet Zoo and the launch of the PC game this fall.

"Every Planet Zoo animal is an individual who thinks, feels and explores the world you are building around him," Frontier said in his announcement. Players will use the creative mechanisms found in Planet coaster to "create breathtaking landscapes and habitats". Players will be able to share and download each other's drawings. Masters zookeepers can create exhibitions with prestigious animals and their researchers can release animals in the wild to repopulate their species.

"This is the zoo management game that we want to create for many years," said Jonny Watts, Creative Director of Frontier, in a statement. The studio / publisher launched Zoo Tycoon for Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2013.

Frontier followed this with Planet coaster so what Evolution of the Jurassic World. Planet coaster, who appealed to the studio's heritage for the creation of some of the original RollerCoaster Tycoon games, more favorably reviewed than Evolution of the Jurassic Worldalthough the latter has had great commercial success, selling two million copies in its first seven months. Frontier is also behind the space flight simulator Elite Dangerous.
