April 29, 2019 12:32CLARKSVILLE, Tennessee (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Christian School has launched a fundraiser to cover the funeral costs associated with the loss of two students.
William Lancaster, 18, and his sister Alayan Lancaster, 15, were killed in a frontal crash in Montgomery County on April 25, 2019.
The Clarksville Christian School has posted on its Facebook page various ways in which the community can help support the funeral expenses of the family. Depending on the job, anyone willing to help can bring a check to the school. Checks may be made at the order of Clarksville Christian School and must indicate "Lancaster Family" in the memo. A GoFundMe campaign has also been launched.
"This fund was created to generate support for Jonathan and Alayna's parents, Bryan and Dana, and to help them in any way possible by covering funeral and other expenses. Although we can not do anything to relieve their pain, our prayer is to help ease the financial burden they will face in the days to come, "says the school on the GoFundMe page.
The Lancaster family specifically asked that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Clarksville Christian School in honor of the children. If you would like to make a commemorative gift, you can post or make your contribution to the school. Be sure to write "In Memory of Jonathan and Alayna Lancaster" in the check memo.
Clarksville Christian School is located at 505 Highway 76, Clarksville, TN 37043.
