Police looking for a 5-year-old may be captured by three men in North Houston

Police are looking for a five-year-old boy who was allegedly taken by three men to North Houston on Saturday, according to the Houston Police Department.

Maleah Davis, who recently had a brain operation, was last seen around 9 pm Saturday in the 16500 block of the Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land. The girl, her father-in-law and her 2-year-old son were kidnapped Friday night by three Hispanic men, according to a published Amber Alert. They were taken in a blue Chevy Crew Cab van.

The news was harsh for Davis' grandmother, Brenda Bowens, who said she had not slept for two days.

"I can not even imagine anyone going through what my family is going through," Bowens said. "It's amazing."

Bowens said Maleah's mother, Brittany, was out of his father's funeral and returned to Houston on Friday.

Over the weekend, Brittany's sister posted a message asking for help to find the missing family. In her message, the sister stated that Darion, her fiancé and the children had to pick up Brittany at the airport, but they never showed up.

Instead, Bowens ended up picking up his daughter at the airport in the rain, while bad weather was entering the area.

According to Amber Alert, the father-in-law was assaulted, but he and his son were finally dropped in the southwestern area of ​​Houston and Sugar Land on Saturday night.

The kidnappers kept Davis and left.

According to the press release, the original place of north Houston, where Davis was reportedly abducted, is unknown.

Davis has dark hair, brown eyes, is 3 feet tall and weighs between 30 and 40 pounds. She wore a light blue Under Armor jacket, blue jeans and gray Under Armor tennis shoes with pink and white details.

Bowens could not give any conclusions as to what led to Davis's disappearance, but she wanted consequences for anyone who removed her "absolutely adorable" granddaughter.

"If someone hurts my grandson or he takes my grandson, I want him to be punished as he is supposed to be because he was the one." nicer little girls, "said Bowens. "I miss her terribly."
