Ophthalmic clinic urging people never to sleep with contacts

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – An ophthalmic clinic in North Carolina urges you never to sleep with your contacts. They have a proof in pictures of what can happen if you do it.

A doctor at the Vita Eye Clinic states in an article that this is an example of what can happen if you sleep between your contacts. The message goes on to say that this can lead to an ulcer of the eye and some kind of bacteria that can eat away at the cornea in a matter of days and even cause blindness.

Fortunately, in this case, drops of antibiotics helped eliminate the bacteria, but according to the doctor, not everyone is so lucky.
