He has taken the rumors that have accumulated over the past few weeks and stuck them in a few renders. At first glance, what do you see?

I see a set of smartphones inspired by their predecessors. This is not a bad idea in itself. The Google Pixel brand is getting stronger with each new release.

Like Apple or Samsung, Google can take advantage of staying on course thanks to a recognizable visual language in the industrial design of its phone. But just like the Pixel 3 XL, I think Google is going ahead with the less attractive trends outside of its established hardware brand.

By this I mean that the use of a notch on the Google Pixel 3 XL was a mistake and that the use of display panel cutouts for the cameras on the Pixel 4 and 4 XL was an error. That is, if Google does not want to use the pixel as the output signal for the visual trends of smartphone hardware from now on.

OR if Google simply makes a smartphone for developers who want to use a phone with features that reflect the average Android smartphone. But I thought Google had stopped making this type of phone with Nexus 5X and 6P?

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 7 Pro released this week uses a very simple version of Android (not too modified – just fine) and has a camera system roughly tied with Pixel 3. And there There is no notch or hole in the OnePlus 7 Pro display panel. So maybe the time has come to change equipment.
