A CBS member, WKYT-TV, reported Monday that a fire had destroyed parts of a popular marina on Cumberland Lake, Kentucky. The fire started around 2:30 am at Conley Bottom Resort.
The video sent to the station by the viewers shows big flames coming from the marina. Firefighters stated that no injuries had been reported.
Freddie Piercy, co-owner of the marina, told WKYT that the fire had destroyed the store and the cafe. A barge used by the marina was also damaged.
Firefighters said at least three buildings had already been engulfed when they were called to the scene, reported CBS affiliate WLKY-TV.
