The NASA photo was taken about 402 km above the Earth's surface in low Earth orbit (LEO). The spatial photo shows the golden glow of the sun that falls on the island island of Indonesia, Southeast Asia. The International Space Station is circling the planet at an incredible speed of 17,500 km / h. At these speeds, the orbital laboratory performs a terrestrial orbit approximately every 90 minutes.
The US Space Agency said, "Imagine having such a view every day.
"The glow of the sun shines off the Celebes Sea in Southeast Asia as the ISS flies 255 miles over Indonesia.
"Astronauts aboard the Space Station are using the importer to conduct Earth Science observations that help us better understand our dynamic planet."
On Twitter, the space agency also described the ISS view as a "peaceful scene".

NASA said: "The space station has the volume of a five-bedroom house or two Boeing 747 airliners.
"He is able to support a crew of six, plus visitors.
"On Earth, the space station would weigh nearly a million pounds.
"Measured from the edges of its solar panels, the station covers the surface of a football field, including end areas.
"It includes lab modules from the United States, Russia, Japan, and Europe."
