Bugatti pays tribute to EB110 with the new Centodieci

Welcome to Centodieci, the last hypercar of Bugatti from the Chiron group and the fourth after Chiron Sport, Divo and La Car Noire.

Centodieci, debuting at the exotic auto show in Pebble Beach (USA) this weekend, pays homage to the EB110 of the nineties.

Some distinctive features include a horseshoe grille, the smallest compared to other Chiron-based derivatives. Others include thin headlamps, five vents behind the doors and a pair of exhaust pipes stacked on top of each other.

To mark its thunderous performance, there is a large wing and an air diffuser in the back. The wheels have a new design never seen in a Chiron.

Does he have more power?

Like the other special Editions of the Chirons, the Centodieci is endowed with the usual power of the W16 turbocharged engine of 8.0 liters, the automatic transmission with double clutch with 7 speeds and the all-wheel drive.

But the Centodieci is the first to receive a power increase of 100 hp; all the others had 1500hp. Through the use of lightweight materials, the 1600 hp Centodieci weighs 20 kg less than the Chiron.

Although the figures of 0.400 sec and 0.100 km / s of 6.1 s are identical to those of Chiron, the record of 13.1 s 0-300 km / h Centodieci is faster by half a second thanks to this power increase.

The maximum speed limit has increased from 420 km / h to 380 km / h for Centodieci.

Is it the most expensive Chiron derv?

Nope. This honor goes to La Car Noire, a unique piece with 11 million euros (374 million baht). The Centodieci, with only 10 to do (and obviously already sold), goes for 8 million euros (272 million baht). Multiply these numbers by three to see how much they cost on the Thai coast if they are fully taxed.

In addition to the distinctive designs, these Chiron Dervs all have slightly different riding characteristics.

The Chiron Sport has been designed for handling with a stiffer suspension, while The Black Car offers a more comfort-oriented configuration with softer dampers.

The Divo, meanwhile, was designed for the performance of the track. By paying attention to the aerodynamic details, it offers the most support and the highest level of lateral acceleration.

As for the Centodieci, Bugatti says it's about straight-line performance in the real world.
