New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced that the fourth lunar orbit maneuver linked to the Chandrayaan-2 shuttle was successfully completed on Friday. This was done using the onboard propulsion system.
The maneuver in orbit started at 18:18 (India time) and lasted 1155 seconds (about 19.25 minutes). The achieved orbit was 124 km by 164 km, said ISRO. All spaceship parameters are normal.
Sending to Twitter, ISRO announced: "The fourth in-orbit maneuver related to the Chandrayaan-2 satellite has been successfully completed today (30 August 2019) at 18:18 H. H. " ISRO has also published a photo illustrating the fourth maneuver of the spacecraft, approaching the lunar surface. In the photo, ISRO said that four maneuvers had been done and that one was left.

The next maneuver in lunar orbit is scheduled for September 1, 2019 between 18:00 and 19:00 (local time) to enter its final orbit by flying over the lunar poles at a distance of about 100 km from the Moon's surface.
On August 28, the third lunar orbit maneuver connected to the Chandrayaan-2 shuttle was successfully completed.
On the morning of August 20, Chandrayaan-2 successfully entered the orbit of the moon. In a statement, ISRO confirmed the lunar orbit insertion of Chandrayaan-2 at 9:02.
A statement issued by ISRO was as follows: "The Lunar Orbit Insertion (LDI) operation was successfully completed today (20 August 2019) at 12:02 am, expected time, using the onboard propulsion system. The duration of the maneuver was 1738 seconds. With that, Chandrayaan-2 was successfully inserted into a lunar orbit. The achieved orbit is 114 km on 18072 km. "
On July 22, the Rs 978 Chandrayaan-2 crore was launched into space by the high-performance geo-synchronous satellite launch launcher Mark Mark (GSLV Mk III). The mission would make a soft landing on the moon on September 7th.
