Steam of water seen in the atmosphere of an exoplanet. It could even be rain

[ad_1]

We are learning more about extrasolar planets, and for the first time, astronomers have discovered water vapor in the atmosphere of a planet orbiting another star. The planet is located in the habitable zone of its star, so there could even be rain.

Of course, this is not good news, it is much more massive than Earth, with a higher gravity, and it is probably bathed in radiation by its red dwarf star. But it's a good start in finding places to live in the universe, places where there might be life.
