Liverpool won 3-1 at home against Newcastle United with Sadio Mane's double in the first half and Mohamed Salah's late goal on Saturday, keeping their season debut at 100% and winning their 14th consecutive Premier League game.
Anfield was stunned under the bright sunshine of Merseyside as Jetro Willems of Newcastle sent a thunderous shot into the top corner – the Dutchman's first goal in English football – to give the visitors a lead in the seventh minute.

Liverpool had won each of his four home league games in which he had conceded first place. Twelve minutes later, he had turned his head another game after Roberto Firmino's deception had allowed Mane to give the advantage to his host on the second attempt.
Mane's second attack meant Liverpool had scored two or more goals in 14 consecutive league games, which equates to Manchester City's Premier League record in 2011. Egyptian striker Salah added the third in the second half .
Steve Bruce's Newcastle did not return, as Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, broke his record to win his fifth straight win, with five points ahead of Manchester City, second, who will be promoted to Norwich City Saturday.
"We did not start the match as we wanted," said Liverpool defender Robertson. "It gave us the wake up we needed and after that I think we went up a gear and we were too good for them."
Liverpool refreshes his line of attack with Belgian Divock Origi for Firmino after the Brazilian played for his country in Los Angeles midweek, but that 's the Newcastle attack that hit first.
Christian Atsu opened the scoring on Willems, who punctured his right foot before shooting an unstoppable shot past Adrian at home.
Liverpool had only 28 minutes home in the Premier League last season, but Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka was not tested until Mane came in, scoring a perfect shot on goal.
Firmino replaced the wounded Origi on the substitutes' bench and cleverly passed the ball for Mane. Dubravka was unable to block and the Senegalese striker hit the ball.
After the break, Liverpool was caught at the counter but Newcastle Emil Krafth flamed at the back post.
Liverpool took over the initiative but missed a host of chances in the middle of the half to make three.
Dubravka did not last long, however, as Salah came in, finishing well after another superb Firmino pass to clinch a win that means Liverpool is the fourth team in history to win 14 consecutive games in the championship English.
"Liverpool is as good as you get," said Bruce. "Rhythm, creativity and at the top of the pitch, they can hurt you."
