Central Florida authorities said on Monday that they thought the woman and the children of a man, missing several weeks ago, had been killed at their homes before he carried them away. their bodies in Georgia.
The Marion County, Florida sheriff's office said they had found what they thought were the remains of four children after questioning Michael Jones. The children were found hours after their murdered mother was found in her vehicle.
The bodies of Casei Jones, 32, and his four children – Cameron Bowers, 10; Preston Bowers, age 5; Mercalli Jones, 2; and Aiyana Jones, 1 – have all been found in Georgia, the sheriff's office announced at a press conference in Ocala, Florida.

Georgian officials said Jones was found in a car in Brantley County. The area is about 140 miles north of Marion County.
The children were not in the vehicle and the authorities did not reveal where their remains were found.
The authorities were able to find the children after questioning their father, Michael Jones. Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods said that Jones, 38, whom he described as "perverse", is suspected of death.
Jones reportedly told a police officer that he had a traffic accident and that he had disposed of his children's bodies.
Investigators believe that Jones murdered his family in their Summerfield home and kept their bodies for several weeks before driving them across state borders in a van.
He is charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of his wife. Other charges should be announced in the coming days.

Casei Jones and the children were missing by their loved ones Saturday, after six weeks of absence.
The family had no history of domestic violence issues and Casei Jones never filed for divorce.
