NASA's Insight Lander is going through a difficult time on Mars, trying to dislodge his "mole" Martian soil. This is the bad news.
The good news? The Insight Lander is now an Emmy winner!
The Academy of Performing Arts and Sciences on Sunday awarded NASA the Outstanding Original Interactive Program Award for its coverage of Insight Lander's voyage to Mars. This award was given to him for his tireless coverage online, on social media and on television, among others.

"Congratulations to those who have contributed to the coverage of the news on the Red Planet by the media, the media, education, television and social media," responded Jim Bridenstine, NASA Administrator .
The mission of Insight Lander on Mars is to use a seismometer, measure seismic activity and provide accurate 3D models of the interior of the planet. As mentioned above, things does not go exactly as planned. But even though Insight can not remove the mole currently in Mars's soil, there are still many other scientific data that it can stick to, including measuring earthquakes on Mars.
NASA also won a second Emmy in partnership with SpaceX in the Outstanding Interactive Program category for SpaceX Crew Dragon test flight coverage for the International Space Station.
