NASA astronaut Christina Koch, currently aboard the International Space Station, photographed this beautiful image of her boyfriend Jessica Meir launching into space in the direction of the ISS.

NASA astronaut Jessica Meir, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka and United Arab Emirates participant Hazzaa Ali Almansoori took off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan today (25 September) at 09:57 EDT (14:07 GMT or 18h57 local). They were to join a crew of six currently living and working aboard the International Space Station, including fellow astronaut Meir classmate Christina Koch.
