A woman has been arrested after an alleged attack on her husband at 7-Eleven at Colony Plaza in the villages.

Debbie Matatt, 50, of Wildwood, was in the driver’s seat of a white Kia van around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday when the altercation with her husband was filmed, according to an arrest report from the County Sheriff’s Office. Sumter.

The husband told MPs he was worried his wife would take him out of the van. He reached out and tried to pull the vehicle into the park, but his wife resisted the effort and kept the van running. The Charleston, Illinois native was arrested on a battery charge and booked into the Sumter County Detention Center where she was initially being held without bail.
