Supporters of President Donald Trump mocked Senator Mitt Romney at an airport in Utah for not supporting the president before Congress counted the results of the presidential election ballot.

In a video posted to Twitter, Romney appears to be waiting for his flight from Salt Lake City to Washington, DC in the waiting zone when an angry woman walks up to him and calls him out of the fraud allegations. President Trump’s election campaign.

“Why don’t you support President Trump? You don’t support him, ” the woman asks.

“I support President Trump,” Romney replies. “I’m sorry, I agree with a lot of things he’s for and I support him.”

The woman was not happy with the response and continued to pressure Romney over the election results.

“It’s a long story, but it’s a constitutional process and the constitution is clear,” Romney says. “I will follow the constitution and explain all of this when we meet in Congress this week.”

“You were elected Conservative to represent Conservative voters. Full stop, ”the woman barks.

“In fact, that’s not the way the constitution works,” Romney replies before shutting down his laptop and walking away.

Another video shows passengers inside a plane shouting: “Traitor! Traitor! Traitor!”

Romney has said he will vote to certify the election victory of President-elect Joe Biden.

The Republican senator even called his GOP colleagues for opposing the certification of presidential election results.

“The blatant ploy to reject voters may bolster the political ambition of some, but dangerously threatens our Democratic Republic,” Romney said in a statement Sunday.

“The power of Congress to reject voters is reserved for the most extreme and unusual circumstances. These are far from it. More Americans participated in this election than ever before and they made their choice.
