Memorial Healthcare Now Offers Moderna and Pfizer-BioNtech Vaccines in Select Locations

HOLLYWOOD, Florida. – The Memorial Healthcare System announced on Wednesday that it has received its first batch of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and is currently scheduling appointments for healthcare professionals and those 65 years of age or older.

The Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine is also still offered by the healthcare system, while supplies last.

Vaccinations will be available by appointment only.

There are two options for signing up for appointments: visit https://mychart.mhs.net. A section called “appointment” is programmed in your table to make an appointment. Pick a date, time and location that works for you.

Those who meet the criteria to make an appointment can also call centralized health system planning by dialing 954-276-4340 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The call center is closed on weekends. Be aware that callers may experience longer wait times than normal.

Here are the vaccination sites and the current opening hours for appointments:

• Memorial Specialty Pharmacy, 9581 Premier Parkway, Miramar.
• Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., closed on Sunday.
• Memorial Regional Hospital Conference Center, 3501 Johnson Street, Hollywood.
• Opening hours: Monday from noon to 7:30 p.m .; Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm Closed on weekends.

What to expect at the vaccination sites?

• Vaccines will be provided by appointment only, while supplies last.
• Bring a state-issued license or photo ID to register at the site. Healthcare workers must show proof of licensing.
• To maintain social distancing, companions without an appointment will be invited to stay outside.
• Wear a shirt or top with the upper arm accessible.
• Children are not allowed on the site. There is no babysitting on site.
