Christy Turlington shares rare photo with husband Ed Burns on a boat

Supermodel Christy Turlington shared a rare photo of herself on a boat with her husband, Independent Spirit Award winner Ed Burns, on Wednesday.

The 52-year-old founder, Every Mother Counts, who has 1.2 million social media followers, captioned her photo of the opening day with a quote from the late Martin Luther King Jr.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can.

Christy’s post received rave reviews from her ’90s classmates, models Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista, as well as Bruce Springsteen’s wife Patti Scialfa.

It was Evangelista, 55, who told Vogue in 1990: “ We have that expression, Christy and I. We don’t wake up for less than $ 10,000 a day. ”

The 17-year-old married couple starred in last fall’s campaign for Calvin Klein’s Eternity, a fragrance Turlington demonstrated when it launched in 1988.

“It was really cool and honestly now that the world is changing so much, watching the shoot, it was one of the last getaways we’ve had. So I think I’m going to hold him even closer because of this, ” the NoCal native told Marie Claire UK last month.

“I’m very focused on the present and because it’s us now, it feels much more meaningful and special to me. There is so much good work from previous years but who we are now [as a couple] that’s where i want to be and that’s why it’s my favorite.

Christy will then celebrate Ed’s 53rd birthday on January 29 alongside their 17-year-old daughter Grace and 14-year-old son Finn.

The genetically blessed duo initially met at a Hamptons party in 2000.

Burns wrote, directed and starred in the six-part drama series Bridge and Tunnel, about 1980s Long Island University graduates, which premieres this Sunday on Epix.

‘I have a little support in this one [as Jimmy’s (Sam Vartholomeos) father Artie]the native New Yorker told the New York Post on Tuesday.

“ Like the characters in that movie, I had no connection with anyone in film or television and it seemed like an impossible dream. But my mother and my father were both united. So that’s really the only part of my experience that I’ve gotten – the idea that Jimmy is in a house where the impossible is embraced.
