Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene gushed on Saturday on a supportive phone call from former President Trump – sparking a sneaky back-and-forth with fellow Republican Mitt Romney.
“I had a great call with my all-time favorite POTUS President Trump!” the lightning rod Georgia rookie tweeted.
“I’m so grateful for his support… he’s 100% loyal to the people and America First,” she added.
Greene reinforced the far-right QAnon conspiracy theory and was hit with a temporary 12-hour Twitter ban this month for questioning the results of the second round of elections in Georgia on January 5.
She has come under increased scrutiny this week for allegedly liking and commenting favorably on past social media posts advocating violence against Democrats.
A colleague, Representative Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), Has called on Congress to expel him – and some Republicans seem to have lost patience with his rhetoric.
“Lies from a feather come together: Marjorie Taylor Greene’s nonsense and the ‘big lie’ of a stolen election,” said Utah Senator Mitt Romney tweeted in response to Greene’s message about his call with the former president.
Greene soon broken back.
“Please grow a pair or a spine,” she said in a message to the 2012 GOP presidential standard-bearer.
