It takes more than good genes to achieve the kind of glowing complexion the Duchess of Cambridge always flaunts.

The 39-year-old filmed herself for a special video message to kick off Children’s Mental Health Week while jogging in the countryside.

Speaking without notes and looking directly into her phone during a break from her run near the Cambridge family home in Anmer, Norfolk, the mother-of-three also urged parents and caregivers to take care of their own well- be mental.

“It is an extremely difficult time for all of us, so take care of yourself too,” she said.

“Find ways to share your thoughts and feelings or find someone to talk to because we really have to be the best versions of ourselves for the children in our care.

Kate typically records a video message every year in support of Children’s Mental Health Week – which starts tomorrow – but it was decidedly less formal and this was the first time she’s taken a photo or video of herself – even to make it public.

It will be on Kensington Palace social media sites from today.

During a video call with parents last week, Kate admitted that home schooling had left her ‘exhausted’.
