PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Heinz Field COVID-19 vaccination clinic will offer more appointments.

Giant Eagle announced the extension of the clinic after “an overwhelmingly positive response”. Additional appointments will be available through Giant Eagle’s online scheduling tool.
These meetings will be from March 8 to 9 and will be available on Friday afternoon. Giant Eagle says more appointments could be added as the vaccine is received.
The clinic started this week. Giant Eagle said more than 4,000 people will receive the photo between Tuesday and Friday.

This is for the folks in Phase 1A of Pennsylvania. Appointments can be made here.
Allegheny Health Network and Dick’s Sporting Goods are also setting up a mass coronavirus vaccination site to vaccinate more than 5,000 people in phase 1A.
Appointments have already been made for Friday’s clinic, which is located at the company’s headquarters in Coraopolis. No walk-in will be accepted.

According to a statement, the clinic is the “largest one-day COVID-19 vaccination clinic to date in the greater western area of ​​Pennsylvania.”
