Donald Trump Jr. calls out CBS for shooting ‘The Talk’ amid Sharon Osbourne drama

Donald Trump Jr. says it’s “insane” CBS paused “The Talk” as they investigated a heated exchange between Sharon Osbourne and co-host Sheryl Underwood.

The show announced on Monday that they were canceling their live broadcasts until Wednesday to address the dust, which occurred after Osbourne defended his longtime friend Piers Morgan, who accused Meghan Markle of ‘lying in her recent Oprah story.

“This is going crazy!” Don Jr., 43 wrote next to a tweet by Morgan. “Now other shows are on the air because someone who actually knows someone else doesn’t believe they are racist just because someone else has accused them of it without any merit just because he didn’t believe anyone else. I get it?!?”

Morgan, 55, written monday of the controversy, “So @CBS took The Talk off the air while investigating the @MrsSOsbourne ‘scandal’ defending me when @sherylunderwood said I was ‘racist’ for disbelieving Meghan Markle. The REAL scandal is that I am called a racist for refusing to believe a liar.

The drama first unfolded last week when Morgan left ‘Good Morning Britain’ during a debate with co-host Alex Beresford over Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Shortly after, Morgan announced that he was leaving the show for good.

His longtime friend Osbourne defended him soon after, tweeting: “I’m with you. I stand by you. People forget that you are being paid for your opinion and that you are just telling your truth. “

Then on an episode of ‘The Talk’ Osbourne said, ‘Did I like it all? [Morgan] mentionned? Do I agree with what he said? No, because that’s his opinion. This is not my opinion. But why is it because I have supported a long time friend and co-worker for years that everyone goes away, if you support him then you must be racist because he is racist ?

Underwood responded that Morgan’s “implication” firing Markle was racist, rather than the words themselves.

After the debate, Osbourne posted a lengthy apology, saying she “does not tolerate racism, misogyny or bullying”.

In response, Morgan, who allegedly “thrives on the uproar,” attempted to demand his own apology from CBS.
