Cancel TV on YouTube? Here are some good alternatives

There is a lot to like on YouTube TV. Simple simple plan. Multiple accounts that you can share with your family. The unlimited DVR.

But YouTube TV does not have as many channels as some other services. And if there is not something you have decided to do, then it is time to cancel YouTube TV.

The good news, however, is that you still have plenty of options for live streaming TV, at all kinds of prices. Let's take a look at what's available:

Hulu with Live TV

Hulu with Live TV is a relatively new option. You know Hulu as an excellent option on demand, and now it also offers a good number of live channels (including local). Plus, it includes extensions such as HBO, Showtime and Cinemax, so you can keep everything in one place, if that's what you prefer.

Hulu with Live TV costs $ 44.99 (this is the new price that will take effect Feb. 26). Note that you will still have ads in Hulu's on-demand library at this price. To get rid of these ads, you must buy the plan at $ 50.99.

FuboTV

If you are a sports fan, you will want to try Fubo TV. This is one of the only services available that broadcast sports in 4K resolution. (Although it's still in beta and you actually only watch a handful of games a week.) It also has a huge supply of add-ons for all types of sports, including including the international, football, the outdoors and more.

Fubo TV has two plans available. For $ 49.99 a month, you'll have dozens of channels (including 4K options). And for $ 5 more a month, you go even further with more sports and movies. (And in addition to a free trial, both packages are $ 5 cheaper the first month.)

Philo

If you just want to spend as little as possible every month watching TV, Philo may be for you. For just $ 16 a month, you'll get 44 channels – and these are channels you know and love – from news to hobbies to lifestyle.

For an additional $ 4 per month (bringing the grand total to $ 20, for those who keep track), you add 13 additional channels.

And Philo is available on just about every device you own. It's really one of those services that you have to see to believe it.

Sling TV

Sling is still the most popular streaming TV service and for a good reason. The Orange and Blue packages start at only $ 25 each (or you can get both for $ 40 a month), and from there, you'll develop the many Sling add-ons. (Or not, that's your call.)

And that's the attraction of Sling – you choose what you want to watch more than any other service. It is difficult to argue against that.

PlayStation View

The PlayStation Vue (which, by the way, does not require a PlayStation game console) remains a very good option for live TV. It offers four channels, starting at $ 45 a month, and each one builds on the one before it, making it easy to choose the best for you. The most expensive package, with more channels than you can count on four hands, raises to $ 80 a month.

And as long as you do not just use an Xbox, PlayStation Vue is available on just about every other device.

DirecTV now

DirecTV Now has lost customers, but that does not mean it might not be right for you. It has four packages ranging from $ 40 to $ 70 a month and, like PS Vue, each plan relies on the lower plan.
