Kanye West released a Kanye and didn’t release his new one Donda album on July 23 release date. But it looks like ‘Ye is working on making the LP by all means.
Last night (July 24), TMZ reported that Yeezy made temporary home at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the location of his massive album listening event that took place last Friday, in order to complete the album. Sources told the celebrity news site that Kanye had set up a studio somewhere in the 71,000-person room. He would also have built accommodation and even have a chef on site to prepare his meals. A source says Kanye was so elated by the crowd at the listening event that he wanted to stay at ATL and get things done.
Kanye was supposed to perform at the Rolling Loud Miami Festival 2021 this weekend, but reportedly canceled his show to use the time to work on his album. Yesterday afternoon, Kanye posted a video from the stands during an Atlanta United football game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. “Ye apparently attended the game among the crowd and always wore the outfit (and mask) he rocked during the listening event.
As for the album’s new release date, word is that it could drop early next month. West associate and media personality Justin LaBoy recently announced August 6 as a target date. “KANYE WEST WILL MOVE DONDA’S RELEASE DATE TO AUGUST 6,” Laboy tweeted. “THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE ️ HE WANTS TO GIVE HIS FANS THE BEST POSSIBLE PRODUCT WITHOUT SUSPENING ANYTHING. HE LOVES YALL WITH ALL HIS HEART. GOD BLESS YOU 🙏🏾 #DONDA # RESPECTLY.”
The new album is expected to feature Pusha-T, Travis Scott, Lil Baby and more, as well as a reunion track with Jay-Z.
