ATLANTA – Police said one person died and three people were injured after four separate shootings in less than four hours in Atlanta.
The shootings all took place between 1:45 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police were called to report a shot dead person on Defoor Hills Drive at around 1:45 am Police found a woman with gunshot wounds. She did not want to speak to the police and was taken to the hospital. His name and condition were not disclosed.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., police were called to Lakewood Ave. SW, where police found a shot dead man. Homicide detectives are working to find out what happened. Police did not disclose information about potential suspects. The victim has not been identified.

At approximately 3:45 am, police were called to Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. SW’s 1200 Block regarding a person who was shot. Police learned that a man had gone to hospital for treatment for gunshot wounds.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., police were called to report that a person had been shot on the 1100 block of Lee St. SW. Officers found a man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital and is stable.
Police are still investigating the four shootings.
