Lorna Valley “Seen” Wanatee, 27, from Tama, died on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Grandview Healthcare Center in Oelwein. A traditional vigil will take place on Sunday evening at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki settlement in the Tama countryside. Traditional Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at McIntosh Cemetery on Settlement with Larry Lasley Sr. as the speaker.

Lorna was born on August 25, 1993 in Waterloo, Iowa, daughter of Arlo Wanatee and Jeanine Davenport.

Lorna graduated from high school. She loved listening to old music, getting her nails done, enjoying a day at the spa and following her family.

Survivors include her parents, Jeanine Davenport and Arlo (Melinda) Wanatee; grandmother, Lorraine Keahna and Sunni Joy; siblings, Kyrsha Balderas, Riley Davenport, Cael Becerra, LeAnan Stockdale, Kaisha Wanatee, Kylie Wanatee and Amber Wanatee; uncles, Galan Thompson, Garnick (Laurie) Davenport, Garren (Jessica) Davenport; aunts, Shawn (Wilmer) Fox, Millicent Thompson, Charlotte (Miguel) Keahna-Nunez, Jolene Davenport, Garika (Victor) Pesina, Sahara (Al) William; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo assists the family with the arrangements.
