Back to school videos party 2020 was circulating nationwide, showing a large crowd outside without masks. The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office and the University of North Georgia Police did not report any arrests.
Lumpkin County Sheriff Stacy Jarrard posted a video on Facebook this year about the Saturday August 21 party, saying that “the owner of the establishment wanted people to leave the area because they (were ) sneaking in “.

Lt. Alan Roach of the Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement calls began around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday and lasted until 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 22.
Roach said Lumpkin County has made an arrest for consuming minors and UNG police have also made arrests, although he does not know how many have been charged.
UNG spokesperson Sylvia Carson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
At least five illegally parked cars have been towed from an area company, Roach wrote in an email.
