BROWN, Shirley J., 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 19, 2021, at her home in Wichita Falls, TX surrounded by her family.
She was born May 27, 1935 in Weirton, WV to Arthur and Margaret Evans.
Shirley was the devoted wife of William M. Brown and the loving mother of his 8 daughters, 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was also a loving pet to her beloved Chihuahua’s Lilly and Mia.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Margaret Evans, her husband, William M. Brown, and her grandsons, David D. Rollins and Christopher M. Brown, Jr.
Shirley is survived by her brother, Jack Evans of Weirton, WV and daughters Amber Parsons (William) of Gwinn, MI, Terra Brown of Wichita Falls, TX, Billie Darago (Kevin) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Michele Formica (Richard ) from Palm Bay, FL, Susan Dodge (Rock) from Cape Coral, FL, Priscilla Rollins (Mike) from Wichita Falls, TX, Kathleen Klush (Frank) from Apopka, FL, Mary Mannella from Wichita Falls, TX and Christopher Brown (Ashley) of Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
Shirley will be remembered as a woman with great faith, undeniable loyalty to her family, and a rich sense of humor. Children and animals instinctively gathered around her, and she rejoiced in their presence. Although Shirley will be forever missed, it is heartwarming to know that she has reunited with Christ and her husband and best friend, William.
Shirley’s wishes were to keep her last arrangements private.
