"Red Dead Online" Xbox One Glitch leaves the world empty frightfully

A Red Dead Online problem on Xbox One leaves the game world empty for some players.

Posting on social media (spotted by Polygon), Red Dead Online Players on Xbox One share accounts of NPCs missing from the game, from hunted animals to extinction and even horses that do not generate when they are summoned as bad boahs.

Speaking to Polygon, a player named Terry Binion said at the exit that no matter how many times he whistles his horse, it never happens. In fact, the only way to get your horse into the game is to reload it. But further, even though Binion manages to get his horse to work properly, animals and NPCs sometimes do not load, making the vast open world of the game terribly empty.

Sending to Reddit and Twitter, other players reported similar problems, noting that animals and NPCs would not play in the game beyond missions, leaving entire cities and pristine wilderness without anything, except rocks to make a somersault and mud to break and dirty your horse.

Sometimes the players' horses breed, but do not appear, which gives the impression that they are the best air jumper in the world. Invisible horses are pretty cool though, so I'm not sure it's a bug that's worth fixing.

Of course, there have been a lot of more general problems that are also rampant in the game, such as starting the game, for which the players have not found a solution.

In other words, it's pretty broken, at least for some players. And at the time of publication, Rockstar Games has not been made aware of these issues or when a solution to some or all of the issues is coming up.

That said, according to a player who sent a ticket to Rockstar Games for many of these problems, the developer is indeed working on a patch that will arrive before the update next week. Of course, this has not been confirmed, but the player has no reason to lie.

The latest game update, which you can read here, should arrive on February 26th. A solution to some of these problems should come soon.
