The first day's patch of Anthem had an unexpected effect on loot drops, according to game producer Ben Irving.

The day one patch for Anthem was released on Friday, and everything was perfect until players addressed Reddit earlier in the day to report a loot-to-booty potential.

Before the speculations of a stealthy nerve take on too much scale, Irving has plunged into a number of discussions on the subject to explain that the fall rates had been accidentally increased and that ## 147 ## They had simply returned to those before.

"One of our modifications during our Friday changes was to increase some chances of a fall. This was not planned. Once we identified the problem, we changed it. It was about 11 hours later, "he explained.

"It took a little time for this message to be released internally and to ensure that we understand what has happened and how to avoid it.

"We never intend to make changes without transparency, so we wanted to come here to react and clarify things."

He added that the drop rates of rare items in some chests had been changed "intentionally", but that these were listed in the release notes.

Bioware also released a patch on Saturday to fix some reported issues, such as the crash of the game, and the fact that HDR does not turn on properly on the console. You can review known issues that are fixed with hotfix 1.03 for more details.
