Burnt Hills – Betty J. Baldwin, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Betty was born on February 10, 1935 in Gloversville, NY. Daughter of the late Julius and Blanche (Talon) Rieth.

Betty attended Gloversville High School and after graduating began working as a secretary at GE in Schenectady. She worked until her marriage to the late Herbert A. Baldwin in 1966, after which she stayed home to raise her children.

Betty was a communicant at Our Lady of Grace Church. She loved to sing and gave her talents to both the church choir and the Clifton Park Chorals. She also had fun playing bowling with her friends. Betty enjoyed camping with her husband throughout the Northeast and wintering in Fort. Pierce, FL to escape the cold.

Betty is survived by her wonderful children Brian Baldwin and Nancy (Drew) Meyer; her brother William (late Barbara) Rieth; and her beloved grandchildren Kaeliana Baldwin and Evan Meyer as well as several loving nieces and nephews.

Betty is predeceased by her beloved husband, Herbert A. Baldwin; his dear brother, Donald (late Marilyn) Rieth; and sister Patricia Rieth.

Parents and friends are invited and can call Friday, September 10, 2021, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY.

A funeral service will close the evening.

Commitment prayers will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Factory Village Cemetery, Milton.
