NEW ULM – Jordan’s Noah Millhouse made four touchdowns in the first half and New Ulm scored their first two touchdowns in that first half as the Hubmen beat the Eagles 41-16 on Saturday night in a South Central District match.
Millhouse hit 45, 12, 10 and 35 yard touchdowns in the first 24 minutes.
New Ulm scored on a 7-yard run from Dylen Carreon and a 23-yard pass from Ayden Jensen to Garrett Foley – both scores in the second quarter.
The Eagles trailed 27-16 at halftime.
After the Hubmen scored on a 44-yard pass from Millhouse to Ashton Sivliay on their first possession of the game, the Eagles came back and took an 8-7 lead.
Jaden Miller intercepted a pass from Millhouse.
Two games later, Carreon fled 7 yards. A 2-point conversion assist from Jensen to Foley gave New Ulm an 8-7 lead.
But Jordan scored two touchdowns for a 20-8 lead. The second touchdown came a game after a turnover from New Ulm.
New Ulm reduced the lead to 20-16 on a 23-yard strike from Jensen to Foley.
But Jordan scored 27 seconds after the Eagles’ score for a 27-16 lead.
Jordan added two more touchdowns in the third quarter for a 41-16 lead.
The fourth quarter was scoreless. Carreon finished with 108 rushing yards and one touchdown and Foley caught five passes for 62 yards and one score. Jensen was 8 of 11 for 108 passing yards and a touchdown. Carreon had seven tackles and Miller finished with five tackles and one interception. Easton Clark made seven tackles.
New Ulm is at Marshall’s next Friday.
