YES meeting set for Thursday

The Foundation awards scholarships
The Cal Coast Cares Foundation awards more than $ 65,000 in scholarships to 32 local students in San Diego and Riverside counties. North Island Credit Union is urging teachers in San Diego County to apply for a credit union grant so they can implement an innovative classroom project idea. Miles of Smiles program for schools
The Move Your Feet Before You Eat Foundation will sponsor the Miles of Smiles program for all schools interested in starting their own school running program before, after or during school hours. The foundation covers the annual subscription to the online activity tracking program and the Miles of Smiles Laces that each student receives for logging more than 50 miles in a semester. The goal of the foundation is to encourage students and their families to be active on a daily basis to improve their physical, emotional and mental health. Scholarships available for female students
