Harvey is a “good friend” with Emma Raducanu and can’t wait to catch up with her straight away.

The “Runaway With It” frontman (real name Harvey Leigh Cantwell) has spoken to a teenage tennis star since his record-breaking US Open victory last weekend, and his peers are still “surprised” by his Victoire. He admits that he is impatiently awaiting it. Now that she’s back in the UK, I’m going to meet her.

He said, “I spoke to her because she won. What an absolute star. She is incredible.

“We are still chatting. We are approaching. We are good friends.

“She was amazed to win. I watched the game with the whole family like in any other country.

“She is a lovely girl and proud to be English.

“She is waving a flag for us. She is a talented young girl in the sports industry and she has created a truly amazing awareness.

And the 22-year-old star wants some tennis tips when he meets 18-year-old Emma.

He added to The Sun in a strange Sunday newspaper column: I’m sure she’ll probably tell me a thing or two.

“It sounds really boring, but my family had a tennis court, so I grew up in the sport.”

Harvey, who first befriended Emma on social media, wants to help sportswomen cope with the sparkle of glory in return.

He declares:

“Men can escape with more, but they shouldn’t. Women seem to make it a lot harder on social media. They have a lot of friends and are close to their mothers. . “
