Daniel Craig was overcome with emotion as he delivered a speech at the end of his last James Bond film in 2019.

In part of the new Apple TV + documentary Being James Bond, the 007 actor informs the team of the next No time to die that he loved every moment of being the character and working with each of them.

“A lot of people here worked on five photos with me,” Craig said, fighting back tears. “I know a lot is said about how I feel about these movies, but I loved every second of these movies. And especially this one because I wake up every morning, and have had the chance to work with you guys. And it has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Craig became a household name when he took over the 007 mantle in 2006 Casino Royale, which was followed by Quantum of Consolation (2008), Fall from the sky (2012) and Spectrum (2015). His fifth and last time playing Bond in No time to die was not an easy trip. Several issues arose during production, and the film’s release was repeatedly postponed due to the pandemic.

No time to die arrives in theaters October 8.
