The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards are underway, as stars from across the television industry vie for the coveted award. Cedric the Entertainer is the host of the show, which airs live from Los Angeles on CBS and Paramount +.

Following last year’s virtual show, the 2021 ceremony takes place in front of a small audience of nominees and selected guests. All participants were asked to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19[female[feminine.

Apple + ‘s “Ted Lasso” earned the most nominations with 13. Netflix’s “The Crown” and Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale” each received 11 nominations, tied for second place.
