Manchester United beat West Ham 2-1 on Sunday afternoon to extend their Premier League unbeaten track.
West Ham opened the scoring in the first half thanks to a deflected effort from Said Benrahma, but United responded quickly when Cristiano Ronaldo returned home to score his fourth goal in three games since his sensational return from Juventus.
As the game progressed the tempo dropped and it looked like the points would be shared at the London Stadium.
It was until the replacement Jesse Lingard appeared on the left side with two minutes to go before cutting and expertly finding the upper right corner with a glossy finish. There would be another twist in the game, however
In the depths of downtime, Luke Shaw was deemed to have handled the ball and West Ham received a dramatic late penalty.
Mark Noble then stepped in to take the penalty, as he had just entered the pitch and without kicking the ball, and David de Gea became United’s hero saving on the spot.
