The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested a 45-year-old Gaylord man in August for posting sexual material on children.
Soldiers say the investigation was initiated when intelligence was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
As a result of the investigation, several electronic devices were seized from the home of Walter Moblo Jr.
The soldiers say Moblo was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and was brought to trial in District Court 87A on August 27.
The MSP’s Computer Crime Unit encourages parents to talk to their children about safe internet use and that there are many resources available to help keep children safe online.
