Autumn is here. We are heading towards the end of September now.
Our weather model over the next week brings mostly pleasant weather. With a small cold front at the end of September just to remind us of the season.
Beautiful thursday
Thursday brings another spectacular weather day in Minnesota. Highs reach the 1970s again over most of Minnesota. Cooler near your favorite Grand Lac.
Cold front Friday
A cold front sweeps across Minnesota on Friday. You will notice the cooler northwest wind on Friday and a few transient rain showers possible. 2.5-day NOAA surface charts show the front advancing on Friday as colder high pressures build up for Saturday.
Friday and Saturday highs hover in the cooler 60s to the south with some 50s to the north.
Sweeter from Sunday to early next week
Sunday will be the hottest day of the weekend. The peaks go back once again to the 1970s.
The heat will persist into early next week. I got to see a few places in southern and western Minnesota, and maybe the Twin Cities again reaching 80 degrees on Monday.
Early readings for next week suggest cooler and wetter weather next weekend.
