HENDERSON, Nevada – Soap star Michael Tylo, who appeared in “Guiding Light,” “The Young and the Restless” and several other daytime dramas, died Tuesday, his family announced. He was 72 years old.

A native of Detroit, Tylo was born October 16, 1948. He played archaeologist Quint Chamberlain in 43 episodes of “Guiding light»From 1981 to 1985 and from 1996 to 1997, according to Hollywood journalist. At “The young and the restlessTyloe played photographer Blade Bladeson in 61 episodes from 1992 to 1995.
His soap opera resume included roles as Lord Peter Belton in “Another World”, Matt Connolly in “All My Children”, Charlie Prince in “General Hospital” and Sherman Gale in “The Bold and the Beautiful”, according to People.
