Big Island Dairy came to a despicable end in 2018, following charges of violating federal clean water law, particularly by dumping sewage into streams in its community of Ookala.
Now it looks like the dairy could be back, on much better terms. Hawaii Foodservice Alliance’s new owners Chad and Stephanie Buck talk about letting the earth heal before coming back with a much smaller, more sustainable, non-industrial dairy.
