HSU named best school by Forbes
Humboldt State University was named one of the top 2021 colleges by Forbes magazine.
Taking the global pandemic and widespread calls for social justice in context, the media company reassessed its methodologies for measuring the best colleges and universities in the United States. For the first time, the 2021 list takes into account the results of low-income students and the incomes of graduates.
In an article published by Forbes, Christian Kreznar writes: “Public universities can offer the most exceptional education to the widest range of students at the most affordable price.
Forbes included 600 private and public undergraduate institutions on this year’s list, which is just 15% of the nearly 4,000 post-secondary graduate universities in the United States.
Humboldt State University was ranked 476 out of the 600 schools on the list.
